Frequently Asked Quesions

Q: Are all standup solariums the same?
A: No, they vary greatly on design, performance, tube type, cooling systems, performance and, of course, the quality. Our manufacturer has been in the industry since 1977.
Q: Why do some standup machines look like sunbeds stood up?
A: Answered simply, they are! Remember buyer beware!
Q: How does the 'VTU600' differ from other stand up units?

A: The VTU600 is of superior design quality - a full aluminum & steel design is used. Even the outer skins are metal not plastic or wood moulds. It's built tough and built to last.
The cooling system has 10 fans that keep the airflow coming downwards, which enables you to tan evenly on the legs unlike other units that don't stabilize the cabin temperature properly from top to base. Our unit works!
We use a card reader system for operation so the client can simply choose from 2-10 minutes with ease.

Q: I noticed that the VTU600 uses 100 watt tubes not 160 watts tubes. Why?
A: Over time manufacturers have tried to out perform each other by power output rather than quality. Many people saw this as a complete disregard of the users interests. We use 100 watt technology simply because it works! It has been proven and been in use for years in the tanning industry. You know what they say, 'if it's not broken, why fix it'? Why subject people to what many believe are extremes when its not necessary? Using 100 watt technology is also cheaper on your electrical usage. We recommend low pressure standup units.
Q: But isn't 160 watts more powerful & thus better than 100 watt?

A: No. We don't think so. It's a bit like a locally made 5 litre V8 trying to out perform a 2 litre formula one race car. Although the local car might have what seems a bigger more powerful motor, it won't stand a chance against the smaller more efficiently designed formula car.

It's design - performance - application .
It's VTU 600.
It's just commensense.
